This accident happened in Billings, MT. The guy said he forgot he had the trailer behind him. There are so many other roads around this underpass. I just hope he didn't go out and buy a new RV. In NY we were traveling some back roads and ended up at an underpass where I made Jim get out and up to measure to the inch. We made it with five inches to spare but it was definitely a scary moment. No place to turn around.
We had to make many detours in Davenport, Iowa because the underpasses were so old and short. How can anyone forget they have an rv attached? Or are driving a motorhome? Tis a puzzlement.

ReplyDeleteIt was this concern that had us purchasing a trucker's GPS.

ReplyDeleteWow. Looks like the big yellow sign would have been a huge reminder! This would be one of my biggest fears.
