Our Previous two trailers (Ameri-Lite) and (Rockwood)

After our big 6 month round trip in the little 21 foot Ameri-Lite trailer we realized that we would need something a bit bigger and with slide outs. While the small trailer was OK for shorter trips, we felt that to spend another winter in that trailer would be too difficult, so we spent time searching for something that would make our 6 months away somewhat more comfortable.

We had seen an Arctic Fox 29 foot trailer in Southern California that we really liked. It had the galley up front and the bedroom in the back. Great floorpan and while we knew that we could not afford an Arctic Fox we looked for something similar. On our way home from British Columbia I found a used Rockwood 2608WS on RV Trader and contacted the dealer in Ontario to see if it was still for sale. It was.

As soon as we got home we went to have a look at it. a 2015 model and in great condition. So a trade in of the 21 footer was done and we were very happy to get the Rockwood. Below is the slideshow of the Rockwood.

Of course, once we had bought this trailer we found that our little truck was feeling the weight of it, so we had to upgrade to a Ford F150 EcoBoost which pulled it very well.

Our previous trailer slideshow below.
