On January 8th we walked across the bridge to Nuevo Progreso, Mexico with our friends Peter and Margaret. There is no interaction with any kind of immigration or customs when you go in, but coming out is a different story. We wandered in and out of a few stores and pharmacies and then went for lunch at Red Snapper. On the way back to the bridge we bought some vanilla and Margaret bought some ointment. we will go back again before we leave "The Valley" as there are a few other things I wish to get.
Here are some photos of our day.

Thank God for America and our Winter Texans. |
We have gone to Nuevo Progreso many times over the last several years. We used to eat all the time at the Red Snapper but found Arturo's is even better.
ReplyDeleteThose oval planters are neat.... did you go back and get one?
