Where are we today?
Cedar Beach Park, Stouffville, Ontario
I think it is time to take a short trip. Maybe up to Galvin Bay or Lakefield in the Kawarthas. These are both membership campgrounds so it is cheap camping. We need to hook the new car up and tow it, to make sure everything is OK with the toad set up before we head South.
We also have to look for a place to stay for about 3 weeks in November. The sale on the house closes on November 15th, and as we have to be out of Cedar Beach on October 31st. Anyone have place for us on their property? We'll pay for the use of electricity!
Can't help with any place, but glad to hear the house is sold. Gives you a peace of mind, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteWe take occupation on November 15th and our daughter and family move in while we are travelling in southern USA. We need to make sure that they are comfortable with the the operation of all the systems.
DeleteThat is the problem with Ontario. All the campgrounds are closed as of Thanksgiving Day. In northern Michigan you will find campgrounds open until the end of November.
ReplyDeleteWorst case scenario would be to take a motel room until it is time to head south. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
We could go to Milton, which is open all year, but it is too far from Whitby where the kids will be moving in to the new house.
DeleteAnd here I had thought you must have lost your computer! good to see you back in Blogville...
ReplyDeleteStill here! Planning the winter trip.
DeleteHope you find a place to stay.
