Christmas in "The Valley".

At Kenwood RV Resort in La Feria, Texas.

On Christmas Day we had a lunch in the Rec Hall. The park provided ham and turkey and everyone who attended brought a dish. There was so much food. I took a pecan pie which was the first dessert to disappear! Even before we got to the dessert table! There were over 100 people there. It was quite the celebration!

We were sitting at this table about half way down.

I took a photo of this guy (Lyndall) because he reminded us so much of someone who lives in our home park.

Before the Festival of Lights in Hidalgo ended, we took a drive down there and checked it out. What a display. My photos may be a bit blurred because we were in the car and sometimes it was difficult to stop to get the perfect shot.

Every year Hidalgo puts on this display with different themes. There are over 3 million lights and it encompasses several city blocks. Here are a few of the pictures I took.
