Sleepless in San Marcos

There has to be something broken.

12.02pm
We are in ER of Tri-Cities in Vista. XRays done, we are waiting for the verdict.

3:00pm
No fracture but very inflamed joint. Lots of awful arthritis exacerbated by the fall. Home care 24/7 has been arranged for the next few weeks. Pain meds will be increased. She has slight CHF so diuretics given. Hope this does the trick.

Thanks to my blogging community for all the hugs and prayers.

  2. Received, thank you!

Just because she is 91 there is no way that she should just be fobbed off. Calling hospice in the morning and then if they don't do anything, I will call 911 and get her to hospital. The pedicab driver (from Christmas Day) has insurance. If necessary we will tap that well to get her 24 hour care until she is no longer in pain.

  5. Dee, I am so glad to read that you are going to call in some reinforcements. You won't be doing V any good if you're not taking good care of you. Hugs to you.
